At Modern Family Early Learning, our Junior Kindy Room is a place where children, typically aged 3 and up, begin to develop key friendships, memories, and essential skills. It’s a time of rapid growth, and we are committed to supporting each child’s development in a nurturing and fun environment.

We focus on fostering self-help skills and independence, helping children take ownership of everyday tasks like dressing themselves, managing their belongings, and making decisions. By encouraging small successes, we build their confidence and pride in their abilities.

Our educators also work to develop resilience and self-awareness, creating a harmonious space where children can navigate challenges, learn from mistakes, and build emotional intelligence. This helps children become more self-regulated and confident in their social interactions.

Through both structured activities and free play, children develop physical skills— from fine motor coordination through arts and crafts to gross motor skills through outdoor activities. Our Junior Kindy kids are encouraged to explore, take risks, and grow in every aspect of their development.
